You are warmly invited to attend the 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Chelsea Foundation. As a registered charitable non-profit organization, the Foundation's mission is to foster recreation, and socio-cultural activities within the Municipality of Chelsea. A key aspect of this mission includes the operation and stewardship of the Meredith Centre and surrounding lands.

All relevant documents — including the minutes of the 2025 AGM, the 2025 audited financial statements and the proposed changes to the Chelsea Foundation purposes — will be available on our website by May 15th.
Join Our Board of Directors
We're looking for engaged community members who are passionate about promoting sports, recreation, and cultural initiatives in Chelsea.
Interested? Contact us at info@chelseafoundation.ca by April 22nd to learn more. A nominations committee will review all applications and present a proposed slate to the membership for approval at the AGM. Please note: nominations will not be accepted from the floor at the meeting.
About Board Involvement
The Board of the Chelsea Foundation is committed to advancing a vibrant, healthy, and inclusive community — working closely with the Municipality of Chelsea.
What's expected of board members:
Attend 10 board meetings per year (in-person or via Zoom)
Join at least one committee and contribute actively
Prepare in advance for meetings
Support oversight of finances and fiduciary responsibilities
Represent the Foundation and support its goals and advocacy positions
We strongly encourage applications from women, visible minorities, Indigenous peoples, and individuals living with disabilities.
