2026 Chelsea Foundation Wall of Fame — Nominations Process Now Open

June 4, 2026

The Chelsea Foundation is pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 Chelsea Foundation Wall of Fame. Community members have until Wednesday, July 15, 2026, to submit nominations recognizing individuals whose achievements and contributions have made a lasting impact on Chelsea.

Launched in 2023, the Chelsea Foundation Wall of Fame celebrates excellence in three key areas:

  • Sport and Leisure

  • Arts and Culture

  • Community Building

The Wall of Fame honours individuals whose dedication, accomplishments, and leadership have enriched the Chelsea community and inspired others.

The 2026 induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Meredith Centre, where this year's inductees will be formally recognized and added to the permanent Wall of Fame display.

“The Chelsea Foundation Wall of Fame is a way to acknowledge exceptional achievements in sports and leisure, celebrate the vibrancy of our arts and cultural community, and recognize the volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make Chelsea a better place for everyone,” said Rick Traer, Chair of the Chelsea Foundation Wall of Fame.

Nominations are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to participate by recognizing deserving individuals from the community. A distinguished selection committee made up of community leaders and experts will review all submissions and select the 2026 inductees.

The induction ceremony will once again be hosted by Sylvie Bigras, who returns as Master of Ceremonies for this special celebration.
